EEE student working at the intersection of AI and engineering — from LLM agents and computer vision to embedded hardware I solder myself. Currently seeking AI / engineering internships and research opportunities.
I'm an Electrical & Electronic Engineering student focused on applying AI to real engineering problems — and on the hardware that AI runs on.
My projects span LLM agents, computer vision, embedded systems and full-stack app development: I've deployed AI agents to servers and local machines, built a YOLO vehicle-detection pipeline on live camera streams, shipped a production outdoor-activities app, and hand-soldered wireless sensor nodes. When an idea grabs me, I just start building.
I'm currently looking for an AI / engineering internship or undergraduate research position where I can contribute to meaningful work and keep learning from experienced engineers and researchers.
Built a YOLO-based pipeline that detects and tracks vehicles on a live RTSP camera stream, assigning persistent IDs to each vehicle across frames. Covers stream ingestion, inference and tracking visualisation end to end.
Deployed the OpenClaw AI agent framework to both cloud servers and local machines, enabling fully local agent execution — covering environment setup, service configuration and remote access.
Built an AI customer-service agent for an auto repair shop that generates automatic repair quotes, connected to the shop's local database for pricing and parts lookup — turning enquiries into instant, accurate estimates.
Designed and built an autonomous robot car from the chassis up: Raspberry Pi running OpenCV for real-time line following, a servo-mounted camera for active vision, an LCD status display and a battery power system.
Converted images into 3D models and rendered them in real time on a small SPI TFT display driven by an ESP32 — implementing Gouraud shading within the tight memory and compute budget of a microcontroller.
Built a compact attitude-sensing node pairing an IMU breakout board with a Bluetooth module for wireless orientation streaming, powered by a small LiPo cell. Hand-soldered all interconnects and validated real-time data output.
Developed a production app for an outdoor activities company: event discovery and sign-up, in-app payments, and automated participant-information collection — replacing a manual booking workflow.
Designed a GenAI video pipeline: prompt-engineered stills, then first/last-frame conditioned video generation using Seedance 2.0/2.5, Veo 3.1 and GPT-Image. Watch the school promotional demo film above — produced entirely with this workflow.
Competed in the Amazon AI League "Agentic AI Challenge" and the Amazon Hackathon, prototyping agentic AI solutions under time pressure as part of a team — from idea pitch to working demo.
Year 3 exchange programme, studying electrical and electronic engineering at New Zealand's top-ranked university.
Relevant coursework: Circuits & Systems, Electronics, Signals, Electromagnetics, Software for Engineers.
Built and shipped the company's activity platform: event sign-up, in-app payments and automated participant-information collection, used for real bookings.
Completed Anthropic's official certification courses on AI-assisted software development and agentic workflows (issued March 2026, verifiable via Skilljar).
Competed in the Amazon AI League "Agentic AI Challenge" and the Amazon Hackathon, building agentic AI prototypes in a team setting.
I'm open to AI / engineering internships, undergraduate research positions and part-time engineering roles. If you think I could be a good fit for your team or lab, I'd love to hear from you.
